The couple kept four dogs, numerous cats and cage birds at their home and, when they separated, Bogart took the dogs. After his marriage to Lauren Bacall in 1945, the couple acquired two boxers – Harvey and Babe – who with the pop George accompanied the Bogarts to the super-smart LA suburb of Holmby hills.
